About 10 days ago, I told my wife that if I had the time to sit around, I would like to write a book. The next day, I slipped on some Ice and landed hard enough, that I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. I haven’t been to work in a week and I am waiting word on if I will need surgery. The night after I fell, I sat down at the computer and started typing. One week later, I have over 12,000 words and almost six chapters completed. I kept on referring to the website that my readers could download helpful spreadsheets and instructions from, so I decided I better get a website.
I have started other books before, all of which were fiction, but I never got past the first chapter. I have really surprised myself at how quickly the book is being written. If my college days are any guide though, I’ll probably spend more time editing and revising than I did in writing. This is a new adventure for me. This is my first blog post ever. Check back often and read the book as I’m writing it. Once I have finished, It probably won’t be available for free anymore.
